Last year, Michael Crump and myself wrote a free e-book called "The Developer's Guide to Azure". As Azure moves very fast and things change, we recently updated the book significantly.

The e-book now contains a lot more practical information and less basics about what cloud computing is.

Also, all of the services in the book are up-to-date and represent the current reality in Azure.

On top of that, you can now download the book in EPUB and MOBI formats, so that you can read them on your favourite devices, like your Amazon Kindle.

So what's in the book? We've written it as a start-to-finish guide for developers that are interested in, or are already working with, Azure.

It covers:

  • How to get started with Azure
  • A catalogue of all of the Azure services that are relevant for developers, including tables that tell you what to use when
  • Tutorials that get you started with
    • Web Apps and Azure SQL Databases
    • Azure Logic Apps and Cognitive Services
    • Azure API Management
